Jane Austen Essay Contest 2018

To foster the study and appreciation of Jane Austen, the Jane Austen Society of Puget Sound regional organization is conducting an essay contest for high school and university students. The regional members who love and enjoy Jane Austen’s books are the audience for the essays. We want to know what the high-school and higher-level student finds compelling about Jane Austen’s writings. We are looking for original insights, captivating writing, a genuine voice, and an essay of clear and correct writing.
